It’s easy to book your pitch with us here at Gateway Resort. You can book online by clicking any of the ‘Book Now’ or ‘See Availability’ buttons on this website, or if you prefer to speak to a person just call our friendly Reception team on 01554 750100. We normally ask for a 50% deposit on booking, …and we normally ask for the remaining balance a week before you are due to arrive. If you have any special requests (maybe you need a pitch close to the toilet & shower block, or perhaps you prefer a quieter pitch away from the clubhouse and overlooking the estuary) our Reception team will do their best to arrange this for you, as long as you specify when making the booking. We cannot guarantee specific pitches but we will always do our utmost to meet your needs.
Please Note…
- We no longer accept Hobby Caravans, LMC Caravans, Tabbert or Fendt Caravans on our site.
- As we are a family holiday park we are unable to accept group bookings for young people under the age of 21, or large group bookings of the same sex.
Certain dates (such as bank holidays or school holidays) may have a minimum 3 night stay, but if you are finding it difficult to book the dates you desire just give our Reception team a call and we will do our best to accommodate you. Our prices are based on up to 4 people sharing a tent or caravan. Additional people are charged at an extra £3 per person per night and children under 5 are free.
Bank holidays, School holidays and Rugby weekends always fill up very fast – so we advise booking well in advance for popular dates!
On Check-in…
On arrival our Touring Warden will meet you by our new Check-in hut (in the car park next to our Crazy Golf course) and take you to your pitch. Your vehicle reg number(s) will have been entered into our ANPR system for the duration of your stay (so no need for a barrier fob). On quieter days you may be asked to check in at Reception.
On arrival please have £5 cash deposit ready for your electric card. This will be refunded to you when you return the card to Reception on your departure. Our Touring Warden will take you to your pitch and show you how to use your electric card/meter. You will also receive a window display card that you must keep on show in your accommodation for the duration of your stay. We will also provide you with information leaflets giving opening times, emergency contact numbers, useful site info etc.
You are welcome to check-in any time after 1pm, and check-out is any time before mid-day on the day of your departure. Please note if you have booked one of our Glamping Pods you can check-in any time after 3pm, and check-out is any time before 10am on the day of your departure.
